Hundreds of people were affected by this fraudulent activity.<\/p>\n<p>Although there are many reputable <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redweek.com\/rent-or-sell-my-timeshare\">timeshare resale <\/a>companies, like RedWeek.com, that provide resale services on the secondary market, the system is unregulated.
