The Las Vegas timeshare resorts are: <b>Tahiti<\/b>, a Polynesian-themed resort and <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.redweek.com\/resort\/P1328-club-de-soleil\">Club de Soleil<\/a><\/b>, a French-Mediterranean-style resort, both which reside on West Tropicana Avenue and <b><a href=\"http:\/\/www.redweek.com\/resort\/P5193-tahiti-village\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.redweek.com\/resort\/P5193-tahiti-village\">Tahiti Village<\/a><\/a><\/b>, a brand new five-star resort on Las Vegas Boulevard. The Orlando property is The <b>Villas at Regal Palms<\/b>, located in Davenport just outside Orlando. The Hawaii locations are: The <b>Sands of Kahana Vacation Club<\/b>, <b>Kanaha Beach Resort<\/b>, <b>Kanaha Villa Resort<\/b> and <b>Hono Koa<\/b> in Lahaina; The <b>Gardens at West Maui<\/b> in Kapalua; The <b>Maui Beach Vacation Club<\/b> and <b>Maui Banyan Vacation Club<\/b> in Kihei; The <b>Kona Islander Inn<\/b> in Kailua-Kona; and the <b>Imperial Hawaii Vacation Club<\/b> in Honolulu.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redweek.com\/timeshare-companies\">timeshare company<\/a> has stopped all sales and marketing efforts and closed their sales offices, as of Tuesday, blaming tight credit and financial challenges in this recession. Information booths placed in shopping malls to sell timeshare units for all their properties will no longer be in use.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a result of the dramatic changes in the economy and the shrinking timeshare lending environment, Consolidated Resorts Inc will file for bankruptcy protection,\u201d said Ken Chupinsky, the company\u2019s spokesman. \u201cThe scarcity of lenders in the timeshare industry has made it impossible to continue the company.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Timeshare owners should not be alarmed as the company says it will continue to operate their resorts as they undergo restructuring.
