Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa in Ko\u2019Olina<\/a>, on Hawaii\u2019s island of Oahu, is on schedule for its planned opening in the Fall of 2011. Sure to become a favorite timeshare vacation destination, Aulani is a unique blend of the culture of the Hawaiian Islands, and Disney magic.<\/p>\n

When you stay at Aulani you are immersed in \u201cthe adventure, stories, and wonders of true Hawaii,\u201d all with the typical Disney flare for magic and fun. Beginning with the iconic volcano landmark which is actually part of an adventure of exhilarating waterslides, to thrilling encounters with gentle sting rays in the Conservation Pool and Makai Preserve, every member of the family will find more than enough to keep happily busy. <\/p>\n

When it\u2019s time to relax, head to the Wailana Pool, separate from the active main pools, where you can indulge in a tranquil retreat amdist lush tropical landscaping and calming waters.<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s no standard kiddie pool and children\u2019s playground for the Aulani. With special pixie dust Disney brings to life the Menehunes. These legendary \u201clittle people\u201d are Hawaii\u2019s version of elves, leprechauns, and fairies all rolled into one, and are said to be responsible for mysterious happenings on the islands. At the Aluani, the Menehune Bridge is a 2,200-square-foot, interactive water play area for children that will include slides, a climbing structure, and more. And keep an eye out for the mischievous Menehunes \u2013 you never know when you might spot one.<\/p>\n

One of the most anticipated activities at the Aulani is Rainbow Reef, the unique interactive snorkeling experience in the Waikolohe Valley recreation space. The 3,000-square-foot lagoon will contain numerous tropical fish found locally around Hawai\u2018I and available for up-close viewing by snorkelers.<\/p>\n
