As life continues to propel forward amidst the aftermath of the pandemic, timeshare sales continue to climb at RedWeek.com<\/a>. Resale closings in 2021 increased by 43% from 2020 and were higher than even our best performing sales years pre-pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marriott Vacation Club Destinations<\/a> points system stole the show last year, jumping from the #5 spot in 2020 all the way to #1 in 2021. It appears that more owners are interested in the flexibility the points system offers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As travel trends return to favoring international travel over road-trip destinations that prevailed in 2020, this list is dominated by Aruba<\/a> and Hawaii<\/a> timeshare resorts. California<\/a> and Florida<\/a> were also buyer favorites last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arizona\u2019s Westin Kierland Villas<\/a> dropped off the list completely this year as travelers return to their tropical islands. A few long-time favorite resorts rejoined the list for the first time since 2019 including: Marriott\u2019s Ocean Pointe<\/a>, Marriott\u2019s Aruba Ocean Club<\/a>, and Waiohai Beach Club<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Grand Pacific Palisades Resort<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 Carlsbad, CA<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
